Just last week the UK Home Office has announced some fees for visa applications are changing from the end of this month – 29th March 2019.
Our readers will be happy to find out that points-based tier 2 general visa application fee is not going to change: it is £610 for a visa that’s under 3 years and £1,220 for a period of more than 3 years.
The UK visit visas are all going up in price: a visit visa for a period under 5 years is going to be £655 instead of the previous £636, whilst a visit visa for a period under 10 years will be £822 instead of the previous £798.
Visa application charges are also going to be introduced for newer types of visas: innovator visa will be charged £1,021 and start-up visa will be charged £363.
One of the biggest hikes in price will be seen within premium services – for example, the super priority service, previously £610, is going up to £800.
However, the vast majority of the visa application services are scheduled to stay the same.
