Many consultants who work for Multi-nationals on a Tier 2 ICT visa feel restricted as they must work for said company usually on client projects. There is however, no route to settlement and ILR in the UK from the Tier 2 ICT route unless it was assigned before April 2010/2011.
We have contacts and a mechanism whereby if a client project in the UK is located, consultants can be employed in Europe by a European company and then deliver services into the UK. Because you wouldn't be entering the UK again under a Tier 2 category the 12 month cooling off period doesn't apply and you can start winding down that 12 month cooling period clock.
After the 12 months cooling period, should there be client requirements/projects then a company can look to hire you on a Tier 2 General Visa and thus begin the 5 years towards ILR.
